KANESCAN CCD bar code Scanner with Holder (Same technology sold elsewhere upwards of $279.00) and Holder.

Replaceable cables available are USB, PS2 (keywedge), ADB (Mac keywedge), RS-232 and wand all in 70 inch length. (You can choose your cable at checkout) These scanners read bars as small as .004" (4 mils) from a distance of up to 1.6" (40 mm) and can withstand drops to solid concrete. They come pre-programmed to read all bar code types and can be programmed via bar code manual to perform any function that a keyboard can do. (Up to 16 pre-amble or post-amble functions!) Works with all Mac O/S versions and Windows 95 and later.

KANECAL VersaBar Barcode generator Lite (You can upgrade to the full version at check out for $40 more)
With this plug-in you can add barcode functionality to Microsoft Word and Excel ! It will also be available in other MS applications like Access too. It can dramatically improve productivity and accuracy over barcode fonts because the Start Character, Stop Character and Check digit is already included. Because the barcode is created as an image you can completely manipulate its size and shape by dragging its edges. This will enable you to copy and paste entire sheets of barcodes into printing templates like those found in Word for Avery labels. As you can see by the tabs you can change the font size, style, color and rotation of the label.
