Replaceable cables available are USB, PS2 (keywedge), ADB (Mac keywedge), RS-232* keywedge or with power supply all in 70 inch lengths. These scanners read bars as small as .004" (4 mils) from a distance of up to 2" (50 mm) and can withstand drops to solid concrete. They come pre-programmed to read all barcode types and can be programmed via barcode manual to perform any function that a keyboard can do. Works with all Mac O/S versions (USB and ADB cables) and Windows 95 and later. (*Except RS-232 model requires additional software for interface with applications or Hyperterminal settings. Advanced users recommended for RS-232 use)
